Each Level of the app is built with distinct Learning Plans which contain separate Language Domains, a section for adding practical learned expressions, and an area to document Life Routines that you complete in your area of language learning.
-
Every Learning Plan has distinct Language Domains that you are seeking to master. In Level 1, all those Language Domains are defined by the app and give you a general introduction to everyday, conversational language. In Level 2, all your Language Domains are based on Life Routines and Cultural experiences from Level 1. You will learn how to describe those experiences in detail and master different tenses.
-
In each Learning Plan, you will complete “Life Routines” where you document in photos and text an experience in the area you are living. Life Routines are organized by 12 different Cultural Areas: Transportation, Work, Economics, Religion, Education & Knowledge, Art & Entertainment, Agriculture & Food, Health & Human Biology, Social Organization, Physical Environment, Clothing & Adornment, and Tools & Technology.

Unlike other language learning apps, Immerse is based on a program for learning language when you are immersed inside the geographic area of your language acquisition. You should arrange regular times to meet with your Language Helper. Each time, you will need to have content material prepared to learn with them. You can add content by taking photos of the things around you or finding photos on the internet.

Transcribing Resources
Transcribing a recording is one of the active listening steps you encounter when using the ordered review, random review, or quiz features.
In Review or Quiz, mode select the “Transcribe” item.
Once you have transcribed at least one recording, in your next language session, tapping here will bring up a list of all your transcriptions that have not yet been verified by your language helper.
